Our commitment

We aim for the website to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and we design the game with accessibility in mind from the start. We haven’t had an independent audit yet, so we don’t claim conformance — we test as we build and fix what we find.

What the website supports

  • Keyboard: every link, button and toy works with the keyboard. A “Skip to content” link appears first, and focus is always visible.
  • Screen readers: semantic landmarks and headings; illustrations have text descriptions; interactive toys announce what changed.
  • Reduced motion: if your device asks for reduced motion, animations are switched off or shortened, the hero plays as a still picture, and .LOL MODE stays off.
  • No flashing: we avoid rapid flashing; the hero’s “camera flash” is a single soft fade and is skipped with reduced motion.
  • Color is never the only signal: selected options show a ✓ and a text label; found secrets show a ✓ and the word “found”.
  • Light and dark: the site follows your system setting, and the Night Shift switch lets you choose.
  • Zoom and text size: layouts reflow down to 320px wide and up to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • No account, no time limits on anything you do here.

What the game is designed to support

  • Screen reader labels (VoiceOver and TalkBack)
  • Reduced motion, high contrast and scalable UI (Dynamic Type)
  • Large tap targets and forgiving gestures — no pixel-perfect precision needed
  • Separate toggles for sound, music and haptics; gameplay stays understandable without sound
  • An inclusive character system: many skin tones, hair textures and body types, plus glasses, hearing aids and mobility aids

Known limitations

  • The illustrated scenes on the home page are playful toys; some visual jokes (like a cloud getting a haircut) are described in text but are easier to enjoy visually.
  • The “Save PNG” character card is an image; its text (name and nickname) is also shown on the page.
  • The web preview of the game is an embedded app that is still in development; its accessibility may lag behind the mobile versions.
  • Custom cursors (scissors, sparkle) appear only over a few toys and fall back to the normal pointer.
