Privacy

Privacy by default: the game is designed to work without collecting personal information. No account, name, email, precise location, contacts, microphone or camera is needed to play. Game saves stay on the device.

If screenshots are saved to the photo library, the device asks for permission only at that moment. Read the privacy policy.

Child safety

The first version has no open player-to-player communication: no public chat, no direct messages, no anonymous chat rooms, no public profile search, no comments and no user-to-user file sharing. This removes the most common ways children can be contacted by strangers online.

Players can create private scenes and stories on their own device. Nothing they make is published publicly.

Online features

The core game is offline-first. Possible future online features — like optional cloud backup — would always be optional and clearly labelled, so you know whether data is stored on the device or online.

Before any community feature could launch, it would need its own safety architecture: moderation, reporting, blocking, abuse prevention, privacy controls, age-appropriate access and parental controls. These pages would be updated first.

Purchases

No in-app purchases and no ads in the first version. If optional extras are added later, they will be cosmetic, clearly priced and described, processed only through Apple’s or Google’s billing, and protected behind parental controls where required. No loot boxes, no manipulative countdowns, no pay-to-progress.

Reporting a concern

If you have a safety concern about BARBERZ.LOL — anything in the game, on this website, or someone pretending to be us — please tell us using the contact form with the topic “Safety”, or email support@barberz.lol (start the subject with [SAFETY]). Safety reports are handled separately from general questions.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Account controls

There are no accounts in the first version, so there is no account to manage, recover or delete. In-game settings planned for launch include sound, music, haptics, reduced motion, and data tools (export, import and reset). Sensitive actions such as resetting all progress ask for confirmation, and use an age-appropriate parent gate where the platform requires it.

Data deletion

You control the save data on your device: use Settings → Data → Reset Save in the game, reset a single location, or uninstall the app. For the web preview, clear this site’s data in your browser. We don’t store copies of game saves on our servers. To delete a support conversation you sent us, contact us with the topic “Privacy”.

Security

We follow data minimisation and least privilege: the less data exists, the less can go wrong. The website is served over HTTPS with strict security headers, and loads no third-party scripts. More on our security page.

We don’t claim any certifications or seals. BARBERZ.LOL is in development; we’ll keep this page in step with what the game actually does.
